- Im Brie, I make my living as a tech and spec writer for high security locks. Yeah, I know. You're thinking very CSI and all that. I wish it were half as glam, not even CLOSE! I've never saved a life over a hunch on how to spec out a mortise lock or exit device for a building. Nor saved an account over lunch. I guess there are shoddier ways of getting cash. --No one's going to bite it if I write a bad spec. Working at Assa requires minimal protective apparel. Lucky me eh? Since birth, I've been unlucky enough to call Connecticut home. I could go on and on about how wonderful life here is, but I won't. I'm happier than any human has a right to be, and for an extra tremendous measure: I am very much engulfed in domestic paradise. Oh, and just so you know: You wouldn’t catch me dead at night club or at NYC PRIDE, ever again!
